Transform technology spending into financial intelligence. Gain visibility, understand your cloud costs and make smarter decisions with CauSium.
The intelligence behind your cloud
CauSium connects to your cloud with read-only access, normalizes every cost into one canonical model and keeps the evidence behind every number. Five stages, one continuous flow.
Read-only connection to your Azure tenant. Subscriptions are discovered automatically; new ones are never imported without your consent.
Reader + Cost Management Reader
Up to 13 months imported in resumable monthly windows, deduplicated and normalized into a FOCUS-compatible model. Totals stay per currency.
Idempotent · per currency
Trends, top services, distribution by subscription and data health — always with period, filters and freshness declared.
Explainable by design
Budgets, forecasts, anomalies and allocation give finance and engineering a shared context to act on.
In validation
Roles, data scope and financial visibility decide who sees what. Sensitive actions are audited.

Cost Intelligence
Consolidate spend across subscriptions, explore it from any angle and know exactly how complete and fresh the data is.
Every subscription of every connected tenant in one view, with totals kept per currency — no hidden FX conversion.
Group and filter by service, resource group, region and subscription, and drill down from totals to the detail behind them.
Daily and monthly evolution with a baseline that only becomes ready after 30 days of real history.
Compare subscriptions side by side and see where change is concentrated.
Each monthly window is recorded as completed or failed. Provider throttling is respected and the import resumes automatically.
Period-over-period changes surface where they matter, with the context to explain them.
See how spend splits across services and scopes to know which conversation to have first.

Cloud ecosystem
One provider-neutral model sits under every connector, so adding a cloud never means rebuilding the product. Here is exactly where each connector stands today.
Tenant connection with your own app registration, multi-subscription discovery and resumable cost import.
Cross-account role with External ID and Cost Explorer ingestion built; provider validation pending.
Keyless authentication and BigQuery billing-export ingestion built; provider validation pending.
Keyless cross-tenancy access, compartment discovery and Usage API ingestion built; provider validation pending.
Illustrative multi-cloud view
Illustrative only. Azure is the connector available in the private beta.
Financial Intelligence
Built for the conversation between finance and technology: what was planned, what is happening and what is likely to happen next.

Deterministic projections that declare when history is insufficient.
Deterministic detection with an investigate → resolve lifecycle.
Versioned allocation rules, shared pools, showback and chargeback statements.
Cost per business unit of value, with data-quality states.
Opportunities move from identified to realized. Potential is never shown as realized.
CauSium does not promise or guarantee savings. It gives your teams evidence and context; decisions and results remain yours.
Governance & Security
Isolation, least privilege and auditability are part of the data model — not features added later.
Every organization is isolated by row-level security policies on every table in the database.
Ten organization roles — from Owner to Viewer — with permissions checked on the server, never only in the UI.
Restrict members by provider, subscription, team, application or cost center. Restricted members with no rules see nothing.
Each member sees amounts in full, masked or hidden, according to role and administrator choice.
Secrets are validated with Microsoft Entra ID, encrypted with AES-256-GCM and never returned to the browser or written to logs.
CauSium asks only for Reader and Cost Management Reader. It does not change your cloud resources.
Sign-ins, invitations, role and access changes and sessions are recorded with actor and time.
CauSium platform roles carry no permission over customer financial data.
Enterprise SSO and MFA are on the roadmap. CauSium does not claim third-party security certifications at this stage.
Built for modern organizations
Predictable technology spend, budgets with owners and numbers that reconcile per currency.
Visibility across subscriptions and teams to steer architecture and investment decisions.
Service, region and resource-group detail to understand what drives each cost.
A shared workspace for allocation, anomalies and forecasting — with data health always visible.
Multiple tenants, scoped access and an audit trail that fits corporate governance.
Managed Clients gives partners a portfolio view of their clients — in early access.
How it works
Onboarding in the private beta is assisted by the CauSium team, end to end.
Register an app in your Microsoft Entra tenant with read-only roles and connect it in the Launch Center.
CauSium lists every subscription the connection can see and probes its capabilities. You choose which to monitor.
History is imported month by month, deduplicated and normalized — safe to retry and resumed after provider throttling.
Executive Overview, Cost Explorer and Data Health are ready as soon as the first window completes.
Use trends, variations and distribution to find where to look first.
Bring finance and engineering to the same numbers, with access governed by role and scope.
Plans & pricing
Plans scale with what CauSium analyzes and connects. During the private beta, every engagement starts with a conversation: there is no self-service checkout.
New customers currently join through the Founding Beta. Growth, Business and Enterprise are offered through a commercial proposal; capabilities marked In validation or In development are delivered as they reach availability.

For Azure, an app registration in your own Entra tenant with Reader and Cost Management Reader on the subscriptions or a management group. CauSium does not modify your resources.
The client secret is validated with Microsoft Entra ID before being stored, then encrypted with AES-256-GCM. It is never returned to the browser, logged or included in audit records.
